Try It A Different Way

Lilly Pad had this quote on a sticky note on her mirror. I'm putting it into practice right now with my exercise challenges. A few years ago, I dislocated my knee and the doctor told me it was arthritis (without even examining it). After it popped back into place on it's own about 9 months later, I had an MRI taken of it. I was told that the tendon in the front of the kneecap was torn, and that after it healed it would always be tender and easily pulled again. This week I was moving furniture and pulled it. I can walk and move around. I'll increase my supplements, especially MSM, as well as staying off of it as much as possible, to help it heal.

This brings me to my exercise challenge. I will still be doing Richard Simmons' workout. I will just sit in a chair and do as much as I can with my upper body, and stretch, and deep breathing. This will be help the knee to heal, as well as keep my spirits up while I continue on a positive path to health.

Happy Creative Thinking!

  1. And if those 26 plans fail, switch to the Greek alphabet and keep on trying!
